The electric forklift can be divided into two types according to the types of batteries used, one is the lead-acid battery forklift, and the other is the new energy lithium battery forklift. The lead-acid battery forklift has the characteristics of low use cost. As a new energy product, the lithium battery forklift has more advantages. For example, the lead-acid battery forklift has about 600 times of charging and discharging, while the lithium battery has 2000 times of charging and discharging. The charging speed is different. It takes only 2 hours to charge the lithium battery from 10% to 100% and 8 hours to charge the lead-acid battery from 20% to 100%. The requirements for ambient temperature are different. When the ambient temperature reaches -20 ºC, the discharge efficiency of lead-acid battery decreases to 30%, while the discharge efficiency of lithium battery can still reach 80~90%. The lead-acid battery is not resistant to low temperature, and the battery capacity decreases significantly with the decrease of temperature. The lithium battery can work well from -20 ºC to 60 ºC.
